How we can work together….

The Coaching Bank is a practice I’ve been using with some of my company clients for a number of years. Unfortunately for some companies, many of their managers have not been trained as coaches. They are often caught up in operational issues which have prevented this development. Accordingly, it is more cost effective to outsource this coaching to a qualified and experienced coach. Managers can focus on managing the business while we take care of the issues which may be holding an individual back.

Rather than subscribing to individual one-to-one contracts, companies have the option to purchase a block of coaching hours and refer any colleague who needs the assistance of qualified coach. The number of meetings drawn down is entirely at the discretion of each coachee.

Experience has shown however, that most coachees need a minimum of three meetings to address a particular challenge(s). This affords the coach time to elicit the specific challenges faced by the coachee, agree a plan of action to address the challenge(s) and it offers the coachee time to implement their agreed plan. These coaching sessions are completely confidential.

The time between each meeting is agreed between the partners but it is usually around two to three weeks.

How it works

Companies purchase a block of coaching hours which are sold in blocks of 10. As companies refer clients for coaching, the hours are simply deducted from their bank of hours and their manager will be informed, on a monthly basis, of the balance remaining in their account. Unused hours remain in your account and can be carried forward indefinitely. Companies can top up their coaching hours whenever the need for further coaching arises.

Meetings are conducted face to face initially after which we use Zoom. Most meetings last circa 1.5 hours and they are always conducted at a time convenient to the coachee. Both parties will sign off the agreed length of the meeting for accounting purposes.
